The Great Fruit Fundraiser!

One of our key projects? Installing orchard rows to provide shade for our vegetable fields and increase crop diversity. 

But, we need your help.

We’ve already spent a huge portion of our budget installing a well for our new fruit trees, but without the grants we were promised, we won’t be able to move forward. Help us raise the budget we were promised for this project and stand together for local food!

Farming is never just planting and harvesting—it’s dealing with the countless variables beyond our control. From weather to politics, so many forces challenge our ability to grow the food that nourishes our communities.

We’ve always known it takes a village to protect our food sources, and now more than ever, we need to stand by our local farmers. The alternative?  Allowing foreign corporations to control what we put in our bodies. We need to safeguard good, quality, local food that nourishes our families. 

We have always sought out grants to help offset the heavy burden of small scale farming. But as we know even something as basic as food gets caught up in political change. Without these programs and support systems, the responsibility falls on farm families and their communities to come together to ensure we have access to healthy, safe food. It might not always be cheap or convenient, but in the long run, it will cost less. 

We have big plans for this farm—not to make millions, but to create a self-sufficient space that provides real food for our neighbors for years to come. After last year’s drought, we’ve made changes to increase resilience. One of our key projects? Installing orchard rows to provide shade for our vegetable fields and increase crop diversity.
